i see it that if people were to marry... on what grounds? i can see some doing it because they plain and simply love the person and see it as a way of getting closer and then i could see others getting married just to scure there place with that person and as a way of not getting dropped or hurt but then there is that little thing called divorce.

you are getting your point across but i don't
think that is entirely tg's grounds...
my assumption is that tg will attempt to show a
certain commonplace security that is imposed
through the idea of marriage (through convention)
that is underpinned with a negative connotation
of distrust... either through the individual
or through the institution...

in either case, this argument is merely grasping
at a perspective that can easily be overtaken
through the penalties/consequences of NOT getting
married under the same provisions as his argument
states.

i didn't miss her post... but then again, i didn't
request the information, either.

i read it all when i lurked on her board a long
time ago... just before i posted there.
i am fully aware of the situation gg has to
live with every day... to the extent a person
like me, living on the internet, can experience
it.

it isn't a kind reality....
